J. L. Gary and Elmer Garrison were
two of the delegates from West Linn
High to attend the Older Boys' Con
ference at Eugene, Friday, Saturday
and Sunday. Mr. Gary gave a talk
Sunday evening at the Willamette
Methodist church about the conference
and the good that it accomplished.
Among hose home -from college for
the Thanksgiving holidays were: Earl
Mootry, Lucy Spatz and Marvin Pater-
son, all of Willamette University, at
Salem. Miss Spatz was accompanied
by her friend, Miss Blanche Billmore.
At the regular meeting of the W. O.
W., Wednesday, November 29, officers
were elected to serve for the ensuing
six months. The, new officers are.

council commander, E. A. Leigbton;
vice lieutenant, Wilbur Smith; clerk,
C. A. Bidder; banker, Thornbury; es
cort, Glen Epler; watchman. White;

Mr. and Mrs. Perry Randalls and
children spent Thanksgiving day at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Sutton.
Lloyd Junken spent Thanksgiving
with his parents, Mr. and Mre. R. A.
Junken.
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Manley and' son
Richard, of Oregon City, spent Thurs
day, Ndvember 30, at the home of Mrs.
Manley's mother, Mrs. Porter.
Mr. and Mrs. B. McArthur. Mrs. Alice

McArthur, spent Thanksgiving day at
the home of Mr. McArthurs parents

Miss Audrey Tuor, a teacher in The
Dalles grade school, spent Thursday,
Friday, Saturday and Sunday visiting
her parents, Mr. and Mr3. A. B. Tuor.
The third of the mission study meet
ings was held at the home of Miss
Helen Walls, Wednlesday, November
29. At this time the third chapter
in the study of John Wesley, Jr., was
taken up. After an interesting hour of
study and song, the committee took
charge and a lively hour of games en

Mr. and Mrs. Anpola of Portland
spent the week-end at the home of Mrs.

man. Henry Dahl has sold his interest in
the blacksmith business, conducted un
der the name of Dahl & Helm. Mr.
Helm will continue the business.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Palmer of Olex,
Oregon, were in Molalla for a few days
last week. Mr. Palmer has been fore
man on one of Mr. Jones' large farms
near Olex, but ha& now taken over a
farm near Arlington, Oregon. They
went from here to Stayton to see Mrs.
Palmer's mother, who is ill at that
plaie.
Max Hume spent Saturday in Port
land. .
Dr. Hume and son Clair motored to
Salem recently on business.

P. G. S. boy's team defeated Gladstone
by a score of 13 to 10.
