Frank Doty Jr. has been suffering
from a sore foot, caused by stepping
on a nail. .
Mrs. Floyd Hogan of Gladstone
spent Tuesday evening with Mrs. J. M,
Killican.
Mr. E. O. Wright returned from a
hunting trip the first of the week. He
refuses to state the exact number of
ducks they "brought down" but we
are assured that it was the limit.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Senbi of Port
land were dinner guests of Mr. and
Mrs. N. Michels Sunday. -
Mr. and Mrs. James McKillican had
as their dinner guests on Thansgiving
Opal Hogan, Ruby Hogan, Frank Ho
gan, and Elmer Simpson.
Mr. and Mrs. Will Hobble and child
ren were entertained at the home of
the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.
J. Hobble on Thanksgiving day.
At the regular meeting of the fire
department Tuesday evening, the mem
bers voted to co-operate with the mem
bers of. the Community Club, In rais
ing funds with which to purchasea
piano tor the hall. They presented to
the committee appointed by the com
munity club, to purchase the piano, a
check for thirty dollars as part of
their share.
Mr. and Ms. N. M. Killican's guests
on Thanksgiving included, Mr. and
Mrs. H. Doremus and Don Larios of
Oregon City, Mr. and. Mrs. F. C. Hall
and daughter Dorothy of West Linn.
This was also the fifty-first wedding
anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. J. Dore
mus.
Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Jones are re
joicing over the arrival of a son, born
at the Oregon City hospital, November
28. The little son has been named
Ellis Jr.
Mrs. F. Doty, Mrs. J. W. Draper and
Mrs. N. McKillican spent Tuesday in
Portland. . " .

Engineer of Oregon City has filed with
the undersigned a written certificate
to the effect that John Adams Street
has been completed, by W. D. Andrews
Construction Co., from the North side
of Eleventh Street to the South side of
Twelfth Street, and the City Council
has set Friday, the 15th day of De
cember, 1922, at the hour of 7:30 P. M.
when the acceptance of said street will
be considered by the Council.
