A Hattan Reunion was held at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dart Sun
day, April 16, at Molalla, it being

Teachers Institute
at Jennings Lodge
The last local teachers institute for
Clackamas county is scheduled for
Saturday, May 6 at the Jennings
Lodge school building.
At this meeting a session of the
Clackamas County Division of the
Oregon State Teachers Association
will also be held.
The chief speakers on the program
are Dr.- C. A. Gregory from the U. of
O, S. S. Duncan, superintendent Yam
hill county and Katherine Arubuthnot
of the State Normal school, at Mon

The city fathers of West Linn, met

Bids on the Bolton sewer mere
opened and read and the conrtcat was
given to Parker and Schram of Port
land, whose bid was over six hundred
dollars below the nearest competitor.
This firm agreed also to employ local
local help wherever possible.
Councilman P;ckens - reported that
he has procured an acre tract in the
lava beds west of town to be used as
a garbage dump and action was taken
to provide for a road into this loca
tion.
Jurrors Difficult to Obtain
Considerable difficulty has been ex
perienced in completing jury pan
els. The original list for this term of
court haying been exhausted fourteen
more were drawn. Eleven of the sev
enteen women who were at first
drawn declined to serve.
