required to appear and answer the
complaint filed against you herein on
or before Saturday, July 6th, 1919,
that being six weeks from the first
publication of this summons, and if
you fail to appear and answer, plain

pending, and which said paper ,is

most likely to give defendant notice
of the pendency of this suit, and said
publication will be made by order of
the Hon. J. U. Campbell, Judge of the
above entitled court, which said order
is dated the 21st day of May, 1919.

The worst part of housework is the washing when done in the old
way, on the rubboard, rasping the dirt and soil out of. each peace sepa
rately, by hand. If you have a hand machine it will help out, but even
then someone must push and pull the handle back "and forth, and, al
though it is not hard, it becomes anions before the family washing is

far more tiresome than operating the washer.
