sections of the Logan-Portland road.
First from opposite the Byers gate
to the northern end of the approach
to Bakers Bridge. Second, from op
posite the John Hatton barn to the
western pier of Clear Creek bridge.
Third, from the eastern end of Clear
Creek bridge to the top of Clear
Creek hill on the road to Logan.
Separate bids will be received on
the different sections on a yardage
basis, or upon the entire work.
Specifications for the above work
will be on file in the office of the
County Roadmaster.

Chris. Schuebel of this city, Tues
day announced that he would become
a candidate for the unexpired term
of the late Senator Walter Dimick,
and would officially announce the
fact in a few days. Mr. Schuebel is
now a member of the house from this
county, and during the last legisla
ture was instrumental in passing
House Bill No. 437, relating to in
heritances and incomes from which
more than $300,000 will be added in
revenues for the state treasury. Mr.
bcnuebel claims that he will noint
to his record in the past legislatures
as his platform for tho senatorship "
from this county.
