What can help more to start the day joyfully than a delicious, quickly pre pared breakfast. The ELECTRIC TOASTER makes toast to order, just brown enough and just hard enough, while the perco later bubbles delicious coffee of just the right strength to suit the taste. - The ELECTRIC EGG BOILER, which cooks the eggs just right, the ELECTRIC GRILL and the DISK STOVE also serve to relieve the housewife of the drudgery of the gas orcoal stove and help begin the day cheerfully. ' HOW THEY DO IT Evangelism in Atlantic City Savors of Comic Opera The Courier is under obligation to a friend in the east where culture prevails for news of a revival meet ing being held at Atlantic City, New Jersey, by one Rev. Henry W. Stough. The following are some newspaper comments on the "circus." i "Face to face we have a preacher who damns even dancing, threatens you with hell for touching cards, and a wealthy, brilliant mayor who thinks 25 per cent of life is good booze, and advocates enlivening Atlantic City during Lent with imported gamblers, boxers and loads of chorus girls. "Dr. Stough, stretched out on a couch back at the hotel, while ex Pugilist Jack Cardiff, his trainer, tucked parts of him under a fancy coverlet, and pummeled and rubbed and slapped the rest of him with alco holthe only form in which any mem ber of the party touches it moralized to me upon his experiences. The Electric Store Phones Home A-229 Pacific Main 115 Beaver Bldg. Main St. " 'This state of New Jersey is as vile as hell on the booze question!' he said. 'It is one of the three blackest in the union, and when I came to At lantic City I was told the job here was hopeless. It was a good, old li quor city.' " Opposed to this version of Atlan tic City's shortcomings is the follow ing opinion expressed by Mayor Rid dle, who doesn't think much of the re vival: "The ambition of Atlantic City al ways was to entertain visitors. What we need is 50 gamblers, 50 pugilists and 50 CHORUS GIRLS. ''Happiness is 50 per cent home life, 25 per cent good music and 25 per cent good booze if your stomach can Btand it. "When I go out of the body, no mat ter to what sphere, my wish will be for an open Sunday for Atlantic City. "Morality is only, vice tired out." We bet they are having a good time in Atlantic City, with both sides "playing the game" for all . there is in it. Publicity is great stuff for evangelists as well as resorts.
