Estacada Editor Has Ideas on Pure
Water
The Oregon City papers now claim
that the special election to consider
the adopting of the South Fork Water
Project, will take place in March,
instead of January and February, as
previously intended. If Estacada
could get a vote on this project they
would boost it some. Still it might
be policy to hold off the election until
the Oregon City water gets nice and
warm and the tphoid germs chase the
colon bacilli around the glass, for
"seeing is believing." Estacada Progress.
Without doubt Oregon City could
sell Estacada over $1,000 worth of
water a year without extra expense
to the pipe line. This is onlv one
of the many good features of this
project.
Mrs. Becker Dies
Mrs. Tressa Becker died Sntnrrinv
morning at the residence of J. W.
Davenport. The aged lady came to
Oregon City a week or so ago for
a visit with her grand niece, Mrs.
Davenport. Her home was in St.
Johns. The remains were sent to
Michigan for -interment.

Don't forget the big time in Ore

We are kind of crowded this week
on account of the new management
familiarizing theirselves with the of

time to run extra pages.
