readers of the Courier may hotJje imposed upon during this season of strenuous
and often reckless buying, we are going to present, through the advertisements of
dealers of unquestioned reliability, a great number of valuable suggestions for the
selection of practical and appropriate gifts. It is always best to purchase such
from the home merchants of good reputation who will not be guilty of the cheats
and deceptions practiced by so many during the Holiday season. Watch our col- '
umns for quotations and descriptions of articles suitable for gifts, or if you do not
find in that way what you desire write or call upon the merchants whose advertise
ments we publish and they will give you every possible assistance. ;
As an Xmas Suggestion we would mention that Printed Stationery, Calling Cards,
Business Cords, Etc., ore always appropriate and pleasing gifts. Orders for such
work placed with us now will receive our careful attention. (Call or write for sam
ples). For an absent friend or relative what token of remembrance, either at Xmas,
NeWxYears or any other time, could be more acceptable than the gift of a subscription
to a publication that during the whole year will be a constant reminder of your in
