ment ot Center Street, Oregon uty
Oregon
Whereas, pursuant to an order of
the City Council of Oregon City,
Olaokamas County, Oiegon, hereto
fore made, the City Engineer of said
oity has submitted his report aud Hied
the olllce of the Uecordor plans
and speoificatious for au appropriate
improvement ot Uenter street, said
City, from the Northerly line J
Eleventh Street to the North line of
Alley parallel with Eleventh Htreet,
distauce of 143 inet, and estimates
of the work to be done tlioreon aud
the cost thereof, and,
Whereas, such plans, sneoinoations
and estimates are satisfactory to the
City Oonncil of said Oregon Oity,
therefore,
The plans, Bpecicnations and esti
mates are hereby approved and be it
RKSOLV1SD, That it is the pur-
pese and intention of the said City
Oonncil of Oregon Oity to make the
said improvement, being described as
follows, to-wit:
Tlie street shall be brought to sub-
grade the full width thereof.
On the roadbed maoadnm shall be
plaoed not less than six inches thick
at curb and not less than 9 inches
thick at centor of street, aud wheu
oompleted the said roadbed shall be
brought to grade specified in ordi
nance passed by said Oity Council on
Sept. 7, 1910.
Said Btreet will be properly provid
ed with drains, catch basins, aud gut
ters necessary to preserve the grades,
embankments and surface of the
street, and to provide all proper drain
age. Sidewalks will be made of con
crete, except where on application to
the Oounoil, owners are permitted to
have wood walks laid. All sidewalks
hall be six feet wide and laid to the
property line. Curbs shall be placed
on each side of the macadamized por
tion of the street 20 feet from the cen
ter line of stieet where the roadbed is
40 feet wide. Curbs shall be ot con
crete and set vertically to subgrade of
street. Crosswalks shall be of wood
feet wide and not less than 8 inohes
thick and all the said improvements
shall be made aooording to tho plans
and speoitications tiled December 7th,
laid, aud approved nereoy.
The improvement shall re clasned
"Macadam" and shall be maintain-
ed'by Oregon City for the full Jperi-
od of ten year from date of the ac
ceptance thereof by the Council.
The Oity Kecorder is liereby Idirect-
ed to cause this resolution and not
ice to be published, as required by
the Charter of Oregon Oity.

ted by the Council of Oregon City at
