created a picture long to be remem
bered by the happy guests.

Death of Mrs. Clark
Mrs. Elizabeth Clark died Tuesday
at the home of her son, Bert Clark,
in Mount Pleiuant, at the age of 84
years. Mrs. Clark was taken sudden
ly ill with paralysis of the throat
Sunday morning and livd but three
days Deceased was born in England,
ooming to Oregon City from North
Carolina eleven years ago, since
which timo she has resided here.
She is survived by four children, Mrs.
Jem ie Mack and Bert Clark, of this
oitv, and two daughters in Iowa, Mrs.
Porter aud Mrs Decker.
The funeral was field from the late
residence at 2 p. m. Thursday, Rev.
Zimmerman officiating. Interment
was made in Mountain View Ceme
