L.F. Marrs died at Salem, April 80,
1910, was born in Fayette Villw, Wash
ington county, Arkansas, Nov. 10,
1834. He settled in Springwater,
Clackamas county, in an early day.
The funeral was prpached in Spring
water church, May 2, 1910, by Kev.
KulielniHu of Estacada. The deceased
was laid to rest in the Springwater
oemefjiry. Mr Marrs was a conBistant
Christian, a kind husband and indul
gent father aud good neighbor.
A birthday surprise party was
given the other evening at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. William Bards. The
evening was devoted to music, games
and refreshments. The surprise war
