The Colossal Sale Begins Friday, Jan. 21,9 O'clock
In my new location, after purchasing the entire Rosenstein stock of Women's and Children's Clothing,
Dry Goods, Etc., at a tremendous reduction, and with my own fine stock of Men's Clothing, Shoes,
Furnishings, Etc., I find it necessary to make extensive improvements which necessitates the cutting
down of my great stock to half or less to allow the contractors room in which to make the necessary
alterations.- To speedily effect the desired clearance 1 have turned my entire stock over to the well
known Mr. J. P. Burke, "Busy Burke," whose popularity as a value giver and bargainizer is undisputable,
and who will spare nothing in his efforts to close out my miiy short lines and overstock. Then,
too, many lines I will discontinue to make room for more needed articles so that I will be able to open
one of the best and most up-to-date department stores hereabouts, within a short time. Nothing
will be overlooked by Nr. Burke in his duties of clearing out my store; the entire place has been put into
his hands without regard of loss, my only object being to effect a speedy clearance that the contractors
may begin their work. My own record of real value giving, as well as "Busy Burke's" enviable record
as a bargain-giver, is well demonstrated in these monstrous reductions, which are only a small portion of
