Oregon City Resident Succumbs to
Stomach Trouble
Mrp. Lucien Elfrrd. for the past two
years a resident of this oity, died Sat
urday at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. D Bottomlv, on Seno d street
aud Promenade avenue. - Death was
due to stomach trouble. Deceased
whs 57 years of age, and a native of
Illinois When young her parents
moved to California, wnere she lived
till she moved here. She is survived
by four daughters, Mrs. Lohaney
Pfenffer of aiifornia, Mrs. Fannie
Htster of Mis ouri, Mrs. Dora" Bot
tomly aud Miss Doiothy Elford of this
city.

The Oregon City Womap's Club met
Wedii'sday afternoon at the residence
of Mrs. Ernest Kands. This was reci
procity day, and representatives of
