IMPORTANT NOTICE
QN AND AFTER. SEPTEMBER. FIRST I will price articles at.
the regular, ruling market price, and, with Lhe exception
of a few articles, I will give a Cash Discount of 5 per cent on the
dollar. And as fast as possible thereafter I will make a flat Cash
price that will be equal to, and in some instances more than, five
per cent, off the regular prices.
Further I wish to say that I am in no way connected with
any agreement made by the Oregon City Merchants in "Curtail
ing Credit." I believe the only way is the Cash Plan as it treats
all customers alike, and you get full value for your money.
I am completing arrangements whereby I can handle Country
Produce at a flat Cash price, and will pay as near Portland prices
as will let me ship same and come out even.
MY CASH PLAN will give me time to Cater to the trade
and study their needs, and also to pick up bargains when oppor
tunity offers; while under the Credit system we can only look
at Bargains and wish we had the money to buy them, and thus
give the customer a bargain, and make a prfit too.
Then too, a Cash Store can be "up-to-date," while the credit
store does not order until the last minute, and has to take what is
left after the Cash man has had his pick and has his goods in and
on diplay.
The Cash Plan for me ! Come in and see how it works.
Yours truly,
PAR.KPLACE CASH STORE W A. HOLMES
