gon, from the north line of lhird
street, to the south line of Fif
teenth street, and directing an en
try of such assessment in the docket
of city liens.
Oregon City does ordain as follows :
Section 1 : That whereas by Ordi
nance No. 408, approved October 2nd,
1907, assessina the probable cost of
improving Madison street, Oregon
City, Oregon, from the north line of
Third street to the south line of Fif
teenth street, it is found that said as
sessment against the several lots and
parts ot lots and tracts of land abut
ting ou the portion of said street so
improved, is insufficient to pay tor
the coet of said imp ovinent,
And whereas the deficit of said cost
has been ascertained to amount to the
gum of $1125.00;
Now therefore the said sum of
$1125.00 is hereby assesssed to the sev
eral lots and parts of lots and tracts of
land abutting on that portion of Mad
ison Btreet, Oregon. City, Oregon, so
improved, in the respective amounts
set opposite the number and descrip
tion thereof in section 3 of this ordi
nance as beiug benefitted by said im
provemetnt in excess of the amount
heretofore assessed.
