Paper Company is hereby granted the
right and privilege to construct and
maintain for the term of twenty years
from the date of the passage of this
ordinance an over-head bridge across
Main titreet on the Mill Reserve from
its warehouse on the easterly Bide of
Main Street over to its mill on the
westerly side of said street.
Section 2. The said structure shall
be not less than 21 feet in the clear
above the grada of said street and no
supports shall be made within the
space ot the present roadway and shall
be constructed in a woncmanniie man
ner and be kept painted and clean,
and said Hawley Pulp and Paper
Company shall save the City and any
of its officers harmless on ancoont of
any injury to any person or property
growing out of the construction or
maiutenaoe of said bridge.
Section 8. If the said Company, its
successors and assigns shall fail to
keep and perform any or all of the
terms, provisions, restrictions or con
ditions cf this ordinance, the City
Council of Oregon City may declare
all the rights and privileges granted
by tiii ordinance forfeited and may
repeal this ordinance.
Section 4. The said Hawley Palp
and Paper Company shall within 30
days from the passage of this ordi
nance file with the City Recorder of
Oregon City its written aooeptimoe,
thereto and the failure of eaidOom
pany to file snob acceptance shall ren
der this ordinance null and void and
of no effect.
