The Most Common Cause of Suffering.
Rheumatism causes more pain and
suffering than any other disease, for
the reason that it is the most com
mon of all Ills, and it is certainly
gratifying to sufferers to know that
Chamberlain's Pain Balm will afford
relief, and make rest and sleep pos
sible. In many cases the relief from
pain which Is at first temporary, has
become permanent, while in old peo
ple subject to chronic rheumatism,
often brought on by dampness or
changes in the weather, a permanent
cure cannot be expected, the relief
from pain which tjits liniment affords
is alone worth many times its cost.

an enthusiastic meeting of the board
was held at the home of C. T. Tooze,

Hayhurst-Robblns.
One of the prettiest home weddings
of the season was that of Miss Clara
Belle Hayhurst, only daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. A. Hayhurst, of Clackamas
Heights, and Mr. Everman Robblns, of

The ceremony was performed on
Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock In the
presence of about 75 guests, at the
home of the bride's parents, the im

by Rev. Mr. Spees, of Gladstone. To
Lohengrin's Wedding March, played
by the bride's slster-in.law, Mrs. Maud
Hayhurst, the bride entered the par

which were held by Miss Schwartz,
Miss Nan Schwartz, Miss Armstrong
and Miss Kirbyson, who were dressed
In white. The bride's maid was Miss
Nettie Kruse, who was prettily dress

carried carnations, and little Vivian,
in white, acted as ring bearer, and car
ried calla lillies. The bridal party
met the groom and his best man, Mr.
Dudley Boyles, of .Iffolalla, at the
prettily Improvised altar, made of
flowers and ferns and stood beneath
a floral arch during the ceremony. The
bride looked beautiful In a white
mulle over white silk, and her long
veil was held in place by orange blos

Brtde's roses. After the ceremony
and congratulations extended to the
happy couple a wedding supper was
enjoyed. The house was artistically
decorated.
Many handsome presents were re

token of high esteem in which they
are held by their many friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Robblns are well
known in Oregon City and Molalla. Af
ter a brief wedding trip they will go
to Molalla to make their home, where
the groom is a member of the well
