In a drunken quarrel, the origin of
which appears to have been an argu
ment about religion, Edward Carrell,
nn engineer and fireman, snot ami
killed Patrick Murphy in Carreil's
cabin at Harding, near Tacoma, on the
Tacoma and Eastern Railroad, about
7:30 o'clock Monday night. Carrell
gave himself up Immediately after the
shooting.
