The election in Clackamas county has been a peculiar one. .Nothing like it iu any other county in the state has taken place this year that we have noticed. In a oonuty with a seemingly large Republican majority, a Demo crat for governor gets a big majority, aud a Democrat is sent to the state tebute. On the county ticket it ia probable that two of the bcRt offloes will go to the Democrats. The causes that lead to this are many. The peo ple have what they wanted and that i wi at elections are for. Everybody should he satisfied. Estaeada News. PAINLESS OPERATION RJUL ESTATE TRANSFERS; P Co, lot N R Lang to Willamette P & p.irt Hodges Claim ; $1.
