Thoy intend to visit tho Fair before they roturu. Mrs. Hall, noe Grace Weidner, left Oregon ten years ago and thinks there is quite a change since slio loft. Mr. and Mrs. Fesler have sold their place and moved to Portland. Henry Nyinan and wife have bought Mr. Fesler's place. Mr. and Mrs. Lighter and daughter have gone to Portlaud. Clara Rutherford, of St. Johns, is visiting friends here this weok. . Mrs. Hurley's parents are visiting her this week. Mrs. Smalley's sister and family are visiting with her this week. Mrs. Pettit's granddaughter is vis iting with her this week. Rev. J. W. Craig, of Portlaud, was calling on friends hjre Sunday and Monday. Julius Hatch, of Goldeudale, Wash., and wite, were here on a visit. He preached for us last Sunday. Mrs. Lillian Wilson, of Oregon City, is here on a visit with friends. Albert Smith, of Astoria, is here on a vacation. Miss Adell Mulkey, of Myrtle Creek, Southern Oregon, was hero, a guest of the Gardens. Earl Shibley his gone to Myrtle Creek, wliere the'e must be quite an attraction. Jesse Linken, of California, came and carried off one of onr Springwater girls,, and it is feared that two of our youua men will share the same fate by some Myrtle Creek girls. Relatives of W. J. and Mrs. Sew ellen have been here, a cousin from Missouri and others. Rev. Reed. and wife from the Pa louse country, former residents of Springwater, have been visiting here and Rev.
