located near tho headwaters of the
Molalla river iu this county are mak
ing arrangements for the purpose' of
purchasing machinery equipment for
their mines.
Stamp mill and small cyanide plant
will be purchased and shipped to this
city within a few days, and it is the
intention !' the managers to immedi
ately pack the mill into the mines
and put it to operation before the sea
son is too far gone. There is at pres
ent about 1000 tons of ore on the dump
that is ready for milling.
Miners are pushing the work rap
idly on the company's main mine,
Knpsell No. 1, having completed about
1)00 feet tunnel work. The ledge in
this claim has been struck at the 200
foot level.
The company is constructing a
wagon rond over which thoy will
haul their heavy machinery. The road
is now completed within a short dis
tance of the mines.
Several fine specimens of ore have
beeu taken from these mines and the
outcome of the mines look very prom
ising. There is on exhibition at the
Lewis and Clark Exposition in Port
and a number of fine samples taken
from this mine.

Many Oregon City Readers Have Heard
II and Profited Thereby.
"Good news travels fast," and the
thousands of bad back sufferers in
Oregon City are glad to learn that
pr mpt reliei is within their reach.
Many a lame, weak, and aching back
is bad no more, thanks to Doan's Kid
ney Fills. People are telling the good
news of their experience with the Old
Quaker Remedy. Here is an example
worth reading :
Jacob E. McCoy, of Salem, Oregon,
bridge builder and contractor, residing
on Capital street, second house beyond
Mill creek, says: 1 have always en
joyed good health up to five or "six
years ago. Along about that time my
kidneys crmmonced to bother me.
There was not so much backache, but
the principal symptoms were in con
nection with the kidney secrotions. A
strain or over-exertion very often
caused homorrhagos of the kidneys. I
cannot say that it was so painful but
it was very annoying. I used various
remedies and while some gave relief
others wero worthless. In some way
Doan's Kidney Pills wero brought to
my notice and when np town 1 pro
cured a box, taking them as directed.
A few doses gave mo very convincing
proof that they were going to the right
spot, and though I can't say they have
cured me, as I may never be cured, I
can state that they gave me wonder
ful relief. I have a high opinion of
Doan's Kidney Pills and . cheerfully
recommend them. "
Plenty more proof like this from
Oregon City people. Call at Dr. O.
O. Huntley's drugstore and ask what
his customers report.
