Charles Albright was Monday elected a director ot the JOregon Oity school district for a term oil five years to succeed himself. There was no op position, and he recoived all the votes cast. Judge T. P. Ryan will be the new chairman of tlio hoard. Frank Newton, who for several mouths past, has been studying with the undertaking firm of J. P. Finley & Son, in Portland, has rented the brick building adjoining the Commer cial Bank, formerly occupied by Wil son & Cooke, and will open an under taking and embalming business there July 1.
