Legitimate Mining.
Legitimate mining pays better thau
any other business; it is safe, safer
than any other business It gives
the largest returns for the least
money invested.
A lending financial jonrnal makes
the statement, (also corroborated by
Bradstreet and Dun) that in mining
there is a profit of 800 per cent, with
85 per cent failure, while manufac
turing ranges from 10 o 25 per cent
profits, witli 1)5 per cent failures.
The stock of tlie Golden Eagle Min

guaranteed by the National Trust Co.,
backed by the bonds of tho Realty
Syndicate of San Frauoisco.

Why Investors Buy Underwritten Stock.
1 They, cannot lose one dollar of
their investment.
2 The holder ot stock undorwritt"U
by the National Guarantee and Trust
Company is proteoted by millions of
dollars of assets, beyond and in excess
of the corporation underwritten.
8 He can borrow 80 per cent of the
face value, and still retains his stook
and getB his dividends.
He thereby retains his entirn invest
ment, and still has use of part of his
money. Dividends on his stock go
to him, same as if lie had no bond.

TO THIN PEOPLE
Valuable Inf rmation Given
By Huntley Bros. Co ,
Druggists
Huntley Bros. Co., Druggists,
give the following advice to those
who want to gain flesh, aud it should
be of value to everybody in Oregon
City :
"The quickest, surest and safest
way for thin people to gain flesh is to
take Vinol, our cod liver oil prepara
tion, and the reason that Vinol is sj
far superior to anything else to create
flesh aud strength is because it does
actually contain all of the medi
cinal, curative elements actually
taken from gennine fresh cods' livers,
which no other cod liver oil prepara
tion does, and being without oil or
grease to upset the stomach and retard
its worK n is a great improvement
over old-fashioned cod liver oil and
emulsions.
"Prominent physicians agree that
this new cod liver oil preparation,
Vinol, is certainly the greatest tissue
builder, flesh creator and strengh pro
ducer on the market. They prescribe
it for their patients who are in need
of a tonio reuonstructor, and to those
who want to gain flesh.
"Vinol acts upon the stomach in a
beneficial way, enabling it to obtain
the necessary ingredients from the
daily food eaten to make pure, rich,
red blood, create flesh and strength,
and so sure are we of its action that
we freely offer to return the money
paid for Vinol in every case where it
fails." Huntley Bros. Co. , Druggists.
