Souther Pacific Companv engineers, members of the street coiumiteee ot the city council, ami the city engineer conferred Friday over the plans for the subways and overhead crossings to be constructed by the Southern Paoiflo Company. The plans presented by the company's engineers were agreed to and will form a basis for an ordi nance that will be presented at the council meeting April 5, granting to the Southern Pacific Company, a fran chise for a main and. two side tracks over Railroad avenue. The plans provide for an undergrr. team and pedestrian crossing at Third street, 26 feet wide, a pedestraiu sub way at Fourth street, and an over head crossing at Seventh street.
