The above picture shows the present store
of this enterprising firm that has moved
twice to larger quarters since starting in
business in Oregon City less than two years
ago. It is surprising the trade that this
firm does, not only in consequence of having
first-class business ability, energy and perse
verance, but in doing a strictly cash trade
which they believe, like others, to be the
only foundation for success, as it gives to
the customers the benefit of lower prices
than can be given on the credit system.
The firm carries in addition to a complete
line of ladies' and gentlemen's furnishing
goods, hats, and shoes, a full line of glass,
china, tin and granite ware, stationery and
toys of every description.
The stock in this store is well selected and
bought alter years of experience in buying
to satisfy customers. The present store of
this firm is the largest and finest store room
in the city, the building being put up es
pecially to stiit the firm, being well lighted
with enough Hoor space to properly display
goods. This firm is to be congratulated
upon its remarkable success in pleasing the
buying public.
Burmeister & Andresen's Jewelry Store
The jewelry establishment of Burmeister &
Andresen is one of the substantial business
places of Oregon City and the only store of
its kind in Clackamas county. The firm,
which has bee.n in business in Oregon City
for many years, carries a large and well as
sorted stock of jewelry, diamonds, gold and
silver watches, spectacles, clocks, sewing ma
chines, organs and musical instruments of all
kinds, besides a full line of extras and sup
plies for musical instruments. Its line of
souvenir goods in china and silverware is
grand and tourists should not fail to visit this
store when looking for something worth tak
ing along with them. A full line of cameras
and photogaphic supplies is kept where you
can buy anything in this line from a $i.oo
Brownie Kodak to a camera large enough
tor ;i professional at prices that can not be
duplicated. A dark room for the benefit of
amateurs is always in readiness and is free
to its many patrons. This firm sells more
bicycles than all the other bicycle dealers in
Clackamas county combined and enjoys a
reputation for selling only first-class, guar
anteed goods and will refund money if you
are not satisfied. This firm deserves the pat
ronage of the entire community and its busi
ness is constantly increasing. A couple of ex
pert watch repairers are constantly kept busy
and the firm gets work in this line from all
parts of the county and gives universal satisfaction.
