The Fourth was a beautiful day, and there are indications now of having good weather. II. Damascus. Yesterday, the Fourth day of July, the Modern Woodmen of America held in Kimberly Park one of the grandest celebrations ever known in this vicln ity. The procession started from the postoflice on Main street at 10 o'clock a m. headed by the grand marshal, W. H. Boring, followed by the Parkplace brass band, the Woodmen, Liberty car, citizens, carriages and lootmen. Miss Sabina Cooke represented Goddess of Liberty and Carl Wolfhagen personated Uncle earn.
