Lavelle, deceased, Bartholomew Sulli
van, the administrator, was ordered to
turn the remainder of the property over
to the heirg of the said deceased, and is
hereby discharged from his trust, and
bonds exonerated. .. .-.
In the matter of the estate of Walter
Finn, deceased, the bill of Frederick
Barden, administrator, for the care and
nursing of Catherine Fish, during her
last illness, was allowed subject to any
exceptions tnat may be med by anyone
interested in said estate. . . .
Iu the matter of the estate of James
G. Wilson, deceased, Margaret A. Wil
son, executrix, was discharged, after fil
ing receipts fur all moneys paid the leg
atees. ".- "
In the ma ter of the estate of Ezra W.
Cresey, an imbecile, Richard Scott,
guardian, filed his report, which was
approved. '
The last will and testament of Frances
Caldwell, deceased, was admitted to
probate, and Dr. W. E. Carll was ap
pointed administrator on petition of
George F. Smith. The will was made
in 1895, and bequeathes $5 to her daugh
ter, Emma Davidson, $5 to her grand
daughter, Hazel Davidson, and the re
mainder of the property to the deced
ent's son, George F. Smith, the deced
ent's son. The estate consists of real
and pemonal property, and is valued at
T5,3oU. -
In the matter of the estate of Colum
bia Jackson, deceased, Thomas P. Jack
son, administrator, tiled his final account
and Monday, January 15th, was set as
the time for final hearing.
In the matter of the estate of Mat
thias Zogg, deceased, Thomas Spillman,
administrator, filed bis final report, and
January 22ud, was set as the dale for
hearing final objections thereto.
In the matter of the estate of Feter
Susbauer, deceased, Catherine Sua
bauer, administrator, filed her final re
port, and January 22nd, was set as the
time for hearing fiaal objections to the
same.
In the matter of the estate of Aaron
E. Wait, deceased, Charles N. Wait, ex
ecutor, a recent sale of real estate was
confirmed.
In the matter of the estate of Charles
Bunnell, deceased, W. T. Bunnell, ad
ni"iistrator, was $249 for extra compen
sation rendered in addition to the stat
utory commissions allowed. It was fur
ther ordered that the administrator tie
the necessary reports, etc., so that the
estate can be settled without delay. The
matter of compensation for extra ser
vices performed, has been before Judge
Ryan. En.inenl counsel have argued
the case pro and con before the probate
court. C. M. Idlemau, Judge L. R.
Webster and A. P. Tift, prominent Fort-
laud lawyers have testified on the wit
ness stand, that he was entitled to ex
tra compensation for securiug a tract of
Lind not heretofore considered assets of
the estate. On the contrary, T. R, N.
Sellwood.and J. O Hungerford, of Mil
waukie, heirs of the estate, contended
that Bunnell was not entitled to any ex
tra compensation, inasmuch as the work
done iu securing the Washington county
farm, was principally by the attorney
Bunnell wanted $75 per month as extra
compensation, but the amount was cut
down to the Bum above mentioned
G. E. Hargreaves, administrator of
the estate of Eliza Ilartt, deceased, has
filed his final account, and the court has
ordered the property distributed as fol
lows in accordance with the will of (he
