it was ordered that the levy be as fol

And that a poll tax of $3 be levied on
all male citizens over the age of 21 years
not otherwise exempt.
In the matter of county printing :
County papors requested to furnish
proof of circulation at February term
on Thursday, the 2nd day thereof.
In the matter of purchase of 4 acres
of rock In Oswego : Laid over for further
consideration.
In the matter of delinquent taxes on
slate lands :

Phllipina Schweitzer has filed suit
against Frank Schweitzer for a decree of
divorce on the plea of continued brutal
treatment. According to the com
plaint the plaintiff and defendant were
married in Austria in 1885, and now
have four- children.
Default was ordered in the divorce
suits of Sarah E. Lynch vs Thomas W.
Lynch and Bessie Lavin ys Michael
Lavin. 1
In the foreclosure suit of S. W. R.
Jones vs W. V. Burnev. et al : default
was entered against some of the defend
ants.
The sheriff's sale was confirmed in
the euit of Albin Floss vs Noah 8. Kel
logg, etal.
The G. H. Hammond Packing Com
pany vs jonn foster ana h. A. Foster;

George A. Harding and Clara A. Mo
rey vs M. J. McDonough and E. A.
Brady: jury verdict for nlaintiff for
$120. The defendants had leased the
corner building on Fifth and Main
streets from plaintiffs for the period of
three years. Finally McDonough sold
out to his partner, Brady, who disposed
ui m property ana vacated ine Dunn
ing, and attempted to voluntarily end
the terms of the lease. Suit was
brought in the justice court a couple of
monuis ago ana a verdict was given de
fendants. The circuit court reversed
the decision, giving the plaintiff's judg
ment for three month's rent, the
amount sued for. The lease does not
expire until next October.
On Saturday the judge discharged the
two lone jurymen, who were used as a
pair to draw to in order to save expense.
The two bailiffs, also were discharged
for the remainder of the term.
Ruth Park was granted a decree of
divorce from James Park on 'the plea of
cruel and inhuman treatment and de
sertion. The plaintiff was given per
mission to resume her maiden name.
Addie A. Gray has filed a suit for a
divorce from Frank B. Gray on the plea
of cruel and inhuman treatment. The
complaint alleges that the Grays were
married at Oswego in this county, in
1892. The plaintiff alleges a course of
cruel and brutal treatment during the
past two yeais, at intervals, claiming
that defendant kicked her out of bed J
beat her body until she was black and
blue in spots, and at another time
kicked her off a trunk .
Theauitof J. T. Apperson vs J. E.
Marks was postponed until the April
term of court.
In the suit of Mary A. Lazelle against
Ella O. Duncan, et al. the demurrer
was sustained.

Mrs. Rosa Neibert filed her second
semi-annual report as administrator of
the estate of Conrad Neibert, deceased.
J . N. Harrington, administrator of
the estate of Joseph Walton, deceased,
filed his first semi-annual report, show
ing that $4,738 07 had come into his
hands belonging to the estate, and that
he had paid out $382 12, leaving a bal
ance in his hands of $4,255 95. A leg
