Y. M. C. A. Note. ',
On Sunday afternoon, Nov.' 13th,
there will t)e a grand rally of all inter
ested in the Y. M. U. A. work at the
Methodist church. Secretary O. Cox,
of Portland, will present the interna
tional work. Mr. Cox understand
this work thoroughly. The local field
will be covered by the local secretary.
The public is cordially invited to this
service, .
The week of prayer for young men of
the Aesoi iations throughout the conn
try, will begin a with in the rooms Mon
day evening, to which all men are cor
dially invited.

The basket ball gume again resulted
in a tie last Saturday evening, but when
the game was played off the score stood
8 to 6 in fav r of the Portlands. The
next game of the series will be pla ed
at Portland next Saturday night Nut
withstanding the fact that the Pi rtland
team has substituted new players, the
Oregon City boys still hold them level.
A new pair of parallel bars have been
placed in the gymnasium.
The Y. M. C. A. is now on a solid fi
nancial basis, the income for October
having paid all expense, and some of
the debt. -
For the next thirty days we will sell
all trimmed and unlriinmed hats at a
g' eat reduction Miss Goldsmith.

vate letter written under date of Sep
