residence of Mrs. Richard Tubor of
Mount Pleasant. The invited ladies

The nnnnal camp meeting, under the
auspices of the Oregon State Gump Meet
ing Association of the M. E. church,
will be held on theCanby campgrounds,
beginning Juno 18, 1807, and continuing
until June 28, 1897.
The grounds are in order, and arrange
ments have been made for a successful
meeting, to be under the direction of

merely for intellectual improvement or
pleasurable recreation, but an old
fashioned Methodist camp meeting
where Gospel sermons are preached and
the people receive a genuine spiritual
uplift.
In order to meet the expenses there

the public during the services to bo
observed on Monday," May 31st, 1897,
tho following will lie the order of cxer-
8. All schools that desire to take
part in the exorcises at Willamette hall,
will, with flowers, bo ready to march at
such time as to 'reach tho hall by 0 :30
a. 111. shaip; the grand marshal and
aids will furnish escort to tho schools.
The exercises at the hall will consist of t
ohort addresses, after which tho schools
will be dismissed, the public is requested
to send flowers to the hull for decorating
at cemetery. The col 11 in 11 will form, the
right on Main and 5th nu will move
promptly at 10:30 a. m. and march up
Main to Cliff Houso and countermarch
down Main to 10th, thence to cemetery.
It is requested that the business houses
bo close 1 during moving of column, also
that business houses and residences
along line of march bo decorated with
flags or bunting.

ed marshal on the occasion of the parade
and ceremonies held in this city on
Decoration Day, Monday, May 31, 1897,
promulgates the following orders for
general inforamtion. , .
' The order of march and the assign
ment in column of the different organi
zations taking part in the puratle is as
follows: Oregon City band,0o."F ', 1st
Regt. O. N. G., Meade Post No. 2, G. A.
R., Volunteer firemen, United Work
man, W ood men of the World, Ladies'
Relief Corps, and citizens iu carriages.
The column will form on Main street
facing south, head of column resting on
Fifth street, and the several organiza
tions taking part as above stuted, are
requested to he in place by 10:15 o'clock
a. m., as the column will move at 10:30
o'clock sharp. ; 1
Tho Barclay school will be prepared
to move at 0 o'clock a. m. and St. John's
school at 9:15 o'clock under esco tto
the G. A. R. hall for tho usual exercises
prior to the general formation. Tho
delegation from Etisiham school will join
the column upon its arrival at the head
of Seventh street proceeding from there
to the cemetery.
Tho following aids are hereby ap
pointed: Dr. E. A. Somer, chief staff,
Henry E. Spiith, J. U. Campbell, Frank
Walker, E. J. McKittrick. They will
report to tho marshal mounted at 10
o'clock a. m. ut the Armory.
