Distinct No. 101. School district No.
101, of Clarkt'8, munt hold another
special election to rectify the blunders
made tit the annual school moisting in
March and the Bpecial election April 12.
F. M. Manning was chosen a director at
the March meeting. W.J. Moldonhauer
instituted a contest and Superintendent
Starkweather decided in his favor.
Manning appealed to the state superin
tendent, who affirmed the decision.
"While the appeal was pending, however,
a special election was held and Molden
hauer was elected. Then Manning
instituted a contest, and a hearing was
had on Monday. On the ground that
the special election was improperly
called and held while the legality of the
election held on the first Monday in
March was not yet finally determined.
Superintendent Starkweather decided
that it was illegal, and that Moldenhauer
had no right to the office of director.
