Petition of John Ferguson et al for a county road ; referred to roailmaster. In the matter of tho report of viewers on tho petition of J. A. Wilson et al for a county road ; report of viewers rejected on the ground that but two of them had made a report; objection raised by Geo. 0. Brownell, attorney for AVin Mnybeo, and B. Morton, L. E. YViHe and Mr. McMurrey appointed new viewers. This is the first time in the history of Clackamas county that tho report of two of the viewers was ever rejected. In the matter of tho report of C, II. Isom on the suspension bridge at Ore gon City asking $125 for same J Commis sioner Murks favored allowing the bill as presented J Judge Hayes would agree to pay only $50, and Commissioner Jag gar would not consent to pay more than $25. Minutes to this effect were entered on the ellicial record, and the clerk was instructed to tender a warrant for $25 in payment of the claim. In the matter of the proposition of the Portland General Electric Co. to spend $1000 on the road from the suspension bridge to Willamette Falls provided the county would expend $2000 on same road, Electric Co to pay no money until July; court thought favorably of the proposition and will probably enter into contract late,. ' In the matter of advertising for bids to build a bridge across tho Bullrun at Sandy; clerk authorized to advertize for bids in accordance with plans to be sub mitted by the roadniaster. In the matter of the care and keeping of John Jones; raised from $8 to $15 per month and transferred to L. A. Winesott for keeping. In the matter of the petition of J. 0. Haines for a rebate of taxes $3.50; granted. In the matter of the appplication of Rufus Pease for county aid ; it appearing to the court that he had a life lease of a 1C0 acre farm, now occupied by his two song and also that he had $70 in his pocket at the time of asking for aid , bin application jjs.Kijected.p-'-'1 -- -- In the matter of the application of New England Loan & Trust Co. for refunding tax money ; petition granted and a warrant for $48.82 ordered issued by clerk.
