Glee Club Concert Co. will be heard at
Shlvely'a opera house on Saturday
evening, May 2nd. This club, consist
ing of twelve picked voices under the
direction of Prof. J. Adrian Epping, h at

and the banjo solo work of Mr. Kay
Yonngman accompanied by Signor Car

above the average. The club is also
fortunate in haviug with them the Men;
delssohn Male Quartette, whose "team
work" has only to be heard to stamp

Killed While Blasting. Charles
and Jacob Strowlmcker were injured
last Thursday while bunting rock on
their place, near Fisher's mill. They
tamped the charge too hard and it ex
ploded. Charles died on Monday but it
is thought Jacob will recover.
