He is survived by his mother, Billie Bigley, three sisters, one brother, wife Gladys Bigley, sev- en children, 32 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Dick was born on July 23, 1947 in Hood River to Billie and Wil- liam Bigley. Richard served our country from February 1965 to June of 1967 where he was hon- ored with the Parachutes Badge, Combat Infantry Badge, Na- tional Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal and Vietnamese Campaign Medal. He received an Honorable Dis- charge in 1967. Anyone who knew Dick, knew he loved to fi sh, hunt, camping, mushroom picking, collecting baseball and Fantasy cards, and spending time with his family. A celebration Potluck for his life is scheduled for November 21, 2015 at the Eagles North Portland FOE 3426. Obituaries are $50 which in- cludes a photo. William E “Spike” Delaney Died 11-10-2015 at 71 Spike Delaney was preceded in death by his mother, father, his wife Debbie, daughter Heather, and a baby son. He is survived by his son Scott Delaney, sisters Marry Jarvis, Maggi Rosenburg, Michelle Allen, niece Dawn Gil- bert, nephew James Taylor, and grand- nieces & nephews. Interment at Willamette Na- tional Cemetery. Donations can be made to Pan- creatic cancer research, or cystic fi brosis. Norma Rose Wittkopp April 30, 1923 – November 3, 2015 Norma Wittkopp passed away on November 3, 2015 in Portland. She was 92 years old. Norma was born in Ledyard, Iowa to Henry and Mae Selberg. She was raised and educated there graduating from Grant High School. She went to college in Des Moines, Iowa before joining the Navy as a WAVE, then was stationed in Florida during WWII. Norma moved to Guam as part of the military support team in 1945 where she met and married Orville Wittkopp in 1948. The couple moved back to Wahpe- ton,ND, then moved and made their home in Portland in 1955. After working for many years, Norma retired and enjoyed tap dancing, cross- country skiing, knitting, crocheting and was an active member of the American Legion Women’s Axillary. Norma is survived by her three children: Sandra Mortensen(- Boone Mortensen) Cincinnati, OH, Rhonda Wittkopp (John Illias) Portland, OR and Den- nis Wittkopp (Dori Wittkopp) Prineville, OR., three grandchil- dren, Joleen Smith, Alexander Mortensen and Kathryn Roll- man, and her four Great-Grand- children Lucia, Ellia and Decker Mortensen and Cora Rollman. The family would like to thank the Kaiser Hospice Team. Norma had a private internment with military honors at Willa- mette National Cemetery on No- vember 12, 2015. Edwin James Estes May 2, 1925 – November 8, 2015 Edwin James Estes (Eddie) was born on May 2, 1925 in Brock- ton, Massachusetts to Mary El- len (Boland) and Edwin Devine Estes, the youngest of four chil- dren. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 8, 2015 in Portland, Oregon. He was 90 years old. Eddie was a World War II veter- an, serving in the US Army from 1943-1946 in Service Company 188th Engineer Combat Battal- ion, where he took part in the Battle of the Bulge. After his ser- vice Eddie worked at Columbia Hospital, where he met Lila Wall. They were married on April 30, 1948 and moved to St. Johns, where they raised fi ve children and remained throughout their lives. Eddie received Christ as his savior and was an actively in- volved member and soloist of the First Baptist Church of St. Johns for 42 years before becoming a member of St. Johns Christian Church. He lived his life to serve the Lord. Eddie worked for many years as a steelworker at Union Car- bide in North Portland. He was preceded in death by his wife Lila, siblings Kathleen, Mary and Joe, and son-in-law Alan. He is survived by his children Bruce Estes (Dixie), Deborah Estes-Raedels (Alan), Randall Estes, Nancy Estes-Smith and Linda Estes-Goodell (Val); 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grand- children; sisters-in-law Delores Gaudina and Carol Smith; and many nieces and nephews in the Portland and Brockton areas. Private interment with military honors took place at Willamette National Cemetery on November 19, 2015. A public memorial service will be held on Saturday, Decem- ber 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Johns Christian Church, 8044 N.
