There were over 20 booths representing local environmental and community groups, complimentary smoked salmon from the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, an aquar- ium featuring fi sh from the riv- er, the christening and launch of hand-built boats by George School 7th graders, children’s dance per- formances, face painting, science demos, free bike serial number registration, a local speaker on the Lewis & Clark river expedition, food vendors, and an Occidental Brewery beer garden among other activities. The Willamette River Revival 2016 will return with more river activities to help reclaim and re- connect with the lower Willamette and its imminent clean up.
