Sandra Jean Noble-Dunning
5/4/1940 - 3/26/2015
Celebration of Life planned for May 2 at St. Johns
Bachelors Club
Our beautiful mother, Sandra
Jean Noble- Dunning, 74, of Port-
land, Oregon lost her battle with
leukemia on March 26, 2015. Her
family was by her side when God
called her home.
She was born in Newberg, Or-
egon the second child to Howard
and Magda-
leen
Noble
on May 4th
1940. Sandra
had one older
sister Janet
Noble
that
preceded her
in death in
2006.
She graduat-
ed from Roo-
sevelt High School in 1958 and
later married Charles Dunning in
1964; they later divorced. Sandra
then raised her four daughters.
She was forced to retire in

Charles preceded her in death in
2010. Sandra later rekindled a ro-
mance she had in high school with
as she put it “The love of her life”,
George T. (Bud) Albrecht. They
were together for eight years until
his death in 2010.
Sandra loved the outdoors. She
loved to go for scenic drives, for
walks and to the beach, but most
of all she loved being a mother,
grandmother and great-grand-
mother. She is survived by her four
daughters; Debra (Dunning) Taloff
of Battle Ground, Washington; Te-
resa (Dunning) Aispuro of Port-
land, Oregon; Dianna (Dunning)
McKenna of St.
Helens, Oregon and
Kristina Dunning of
Portland, Oregon.
She will be great-
ly missed by her
11
grandchildren;
17 great-grandchil-
dren with one on
the way; fi ve nieces;
two nephews and of
course her friends.
A Celebration of
Life will be held at
The St. Johns Bach-
elors Club 8204 N.
Central St. Portland, Oregon from
3pm - 6pm on May 2nd 2015. Pri-
vate Interment Noble Cemetery
Newberg, Oregon.

BANK ROBBERY ON
HAYDEN ISLAND

On Monday April 20, 2015, at
11:19 a.m., North Precinct offi cers
responded to the report of a bank
robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank
branch, located at 12240 North
Jantzen Drive. Offi cers arrived in
the area and contacted employees
who told police the suspect im-
plied that he had a gun as he de-
manded money. After obtaining
an undisclosed amount of cash,
the suspect left the bank without
further incident. The suspect is
described as a white male in his
40s to 50s, 6’ tall, pale skin, wear-
ing a tan and red shirt. Anyone
with information about this rob-
bery is asked to contact Robbery
Detectives at (503) 823-0405; or,
the Portland offi ce of the F.B.I. at
(503) 224-4181.

FATAL CRASH ON NE
COLUMBIA BLVD

The driver this fatal crash, 19-year-
old Destini Jordaire Washington,
has been booked into the Mult-
nomah County Jail on charges of
Manslaughter in the First Degree,
Driving Under the Infl uence of In-
toxicants (DUII), Reckless Driv-
ing, and Reckless Endangerment.
She was arraigned on Monday fol-
lowing the crash.
The passenger who died at the
scene has been identifi ed as
19-year-old Alexandria Cooper.
Investigators learned that Wash-
ington was driving a 2004 Hyund-
ai Sonata westbound on Columbia
Boulevard at a high rate of speed
prior to losing control and crash-
ing. Cooper was ejected from the
vehicle and died at the scene. The
vehicle struck one of the large
concrete pillars for the 33rd Ave-
nue overpass.
