Oregon on September 8, 1975 to Tina Davis and Steven Wecker. He attended and graduated from Holy Cross Area School in North Portland. The oldest of four chil- dren, he truly played the role of big brother, always caring for and guiding his younger siblings. Ca- sey was an exceptional athlete and played baseball with Portsmouth Little League from T-Ball through seniors, making the all-star team each year. He also played CYO basketball and football through- out his adolescent years. Casey’s friends tell many memorable sto- ries about his many athletic feats on and off field and court. Casey went to Roosevelt High School, where he played football for Jim MacDicken, (Coach Mac), making first team all-city and base- ball for Coach Jeff Hollaman. He graduated in 1993 and later be- came an assistant coach in both programs, where he helped coach his brother Isaac and many other North Portland youth. Casey con- tinued his education at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Or- egon where he played two years of baseball for the Chiefs. He went on to finish his education at Portland State University. Casey was well known and re- spected in the North Portland Com- munity. He had a kind and loving spirit and great compassion for his family and friends. He was an avid mushball player, organizing his own team for a couple of years. If he wasn’t playing a live game of some kind, he was an enthusiastic sports spectator and could quote verbatim basketball, baseball and football statistics of local high schools, colleges and professional teams. He also had a great love of rock music and attended many live concerts. Casey worked at sever- al different jobs including sorting mail at UPS. Casey is survived by his father, Steven Wecker of Portland, his mother and step-father, Tina and Chuck Bork of Medford, his broth- er and best friend, Ike Wecker, his two sisters, Sara and Karina Weck- er and three nieces, Madeline, Zel- da and Hanna; also by his God-par- ents, Charmaine McKinney of North Portland, and Tony Palm- er of Gresham, Oregon.
