e LI An Enjoyable Occasion Saturday evening, November 12th, thirty-two brothers from Laurel lodge No. 18G, I. O.O. F paid St. Helena lodge a fraternal visit. Everything went beauti fully until we reached the ferry. Some one told Brother Powell to get his lights trimmed and bright through Scappoose, so wo called Brother Woollcy, and after half hour's consultation they de cided Brother Powell could make it, which he did, but Brother Woollcy did not fare so well. You know he is quite a speed demon and at times would imagine he was a De Fftlma at the wheel, and he would certainly go. Conse quently, a few miles below Linn ton his tail light refused to ride with him any longer, and when ho reached Holton a police officer utoDDcd him and told him to tlx up his tailliirht. Brother Woollcy tried to tell him what a good garage man he was, but he had to come through. Brother Cor many had his troubles also. At erory sign board we saw below Linnton Brother Haskell would cry out, "That is the road to Brother Churchill's farm." To ploase him we decided all road a led to the Churchill farm. We finally arrived and found about ono hundred brothers waiting for ui, and the good time they ahowod us will live long in our momoriea. At midnight we re tired to the banquet room, where the aiBtcr Rcbeknhs served us to a sumptuoous supper to the quoon'a taste, which we thor oughly enjoyed. Brother "Cutio" Groh tried to eat up all the pic, but when he found the lie bckaha were prepurud for him, he quit at half n pic. At an early hour next morning wu returned home happy and contented.
