Udberg died at his home, 411 Allegheny street, Thurs day at 2:15 p. m 1 June 2nd He was born in Gotteuberg, Sweden, in 1842, hence was 79 years of nge. He came to America about 40 years ago, and for the past 18 years has resided in St. Johns. He was a member of the Christian church and well liked by nil who knew him. Surviving him arc his widow and five children, viz: Mrs. Clara Ilesscll, Mrs. Agnes Joscplison, Mrs. Maude Wndqulst, C. J. Lid berg and Fred T. Lidhcrg. Man's allotted time is said to be three score aud ten, but Captain Inches has stolen from Father Time about three years, He has been watchman about a quarter of a century aud is still on duty. The genial captain jumps the rope, plays marbles and performs many other youthful antics.
