Thursday morning, whilo at work at Terminal No. 4. Ho was on n 20 foot laddor and in somo manner fell striking tho back of his head. Ho lived only about twenty minutes. He leaves a wifo and two children, run particulars in tho next issue. Adebort S. Franklin of 527 E. Richmond street, died atSt.Vin- cent's hospital April 27th follow ing an operation for appendici tis. Ho was aged 45 years, 7 months and 20 days and leaves a wifo and four children. The fu neral will take place Sunday af ternoon, tho St, Johns Under taking Co. in chargo of tho re mains. Mr. and Mrs. Arman Olin wero very pleasantly surprised Tuesday evening when a num ber of their friends gathered to celebrate his birthday. Refresh ments wero served and a good time was enjoyed by all. I Tho Fraternal Boosters have secured Miss Williams to pre sent to tho people of St. Johns a play entitled "The Home of the Witchcraft." which will nlease every one, tho young as well as the old, on Saturday, May 14th, in tho Moose Hall.
