At the meeting of the Frator nal Boosters last Wednesday evening at tho Moose Hall it was clearly shown that a larger hall is a real necessity, as the Booh- tcrs and their friends filled the hall. The representatives of tho Maxam Shirt and Garment company gave the Boosters their assurance that tho site showed them was satisfactory and that arrangements were being made to got tho factory in operation in St. Johns as soon as possible. They will employ about CO wom en at tho start and expect to in cruajo their force by at least that many more within six months. Tho Boosters are get ting a glove factory interested in locating in St. Johns. The subject of u Fraternity Building was endorsed by every one pres ent and a committee is out at present to get out plans and specifications. About 20 of the visitors joined the Boosters at this meeting. After the busi ness meeting those present spent the rest of the evening dancing and getting acquainted.
