S ' New Patterns m Staple Fabrics ' I
I I YARNS t I
i
The fall materials arc arriving and arc being placed on dis
play. The Dress and Suit Fabrics arc selected with the view of
having a variety of patterns and colors in moderate yardage so that
if one dress is purchased from n piece the buyer need not have any
fear that the particular pattern will be extensively worn in the
neighborhood.
The new wash materials arc attractive and the dyes more de
pendable than they were a vear ago. Devonshires, Ginghams and
Percales arc popular for House Wear and School Dresses.
The new yitrus arc now stock
ed and the colors more ntltiring
tlinn ever. Knitting is still n
becoming occupation besides be
in a productive industry.
Ve Imvc priced these yarns at
five cents per ball less than the
prevailing price over town.
Window Draperies
Yott wilt soon be considering
making your home more home
like by freshening the windows
with new curtains. Your home
store has provided a selection of
Scrims, Mraquizcttcs and Swiss
that wilt do the trick of homey-uess.
Bed Clothing
Most people use up blankets
and comforters for outing pur
poses during the summer and re
quire new bed clothing for fall.
And these too can be supplied at
your home store at proper prices.

YOUR BOY
If you have not bought that School Suit tltat will
make your boy glad to associate with his fellows at
school you have made n mistake, But our stock is
still complete and you may redeem yourself.
MEN'S HATS AND CAPS
In making our purchases of these head wearables
we have stayed close to the moderate prices. Our en
deavor is to get the very best article wc can to sell at
prices that arc moderate. The new stock for fall is
here and wc can fit you.
WHAT IS YOUR TIME WORTH
Most anybody's time is worth at least twenty-five cents
an hour now and from that on up to $1.75. It takes two
hours to make the trip to the city and back. If your time
is worth the smaller sum it means just half a dollar. Your
carelare is 16c. When you add these items to the cost of
your goods bought in the city, do you save anything? We
do not think so: not when you can obtain almost any of
your needs in St. Johns and many of them under the
prices you pay in the city.
We mean this statement not only for our store but for
any store in our district.
