Coaxet, which left Kobo for

to the St. Johns terminal to
discharge a full cargo of hemp
and oriental merchandise. Two
outward cargos and one inward
will be the largest rush of busi
ness in the history of the new
terminal.
As will be noted In the large
announcement elsewhere in this
oaper the Christian church will
open for public service in their
new edifice at Uswego street and
Central avenue, Sunday, Nov
ember 2. The new structure is
an imposing one, conveniently
arranged and splendidly planned.
It is an important addition to St.
Johns, and Dr. H. F. Jones, the
minister, and the congregation
have reason to feel proud of this
superb achievement. It required
indomitable persistence and un
flagging zeal to accomplish it,
and it was largely through Dr.
Jones' untiring energy and opti
mistic perseverence that it was
brought about, and the members
worked faithfully, loyally and
unceasingly. The result is a
handsome and commodious
church edifice.
