nnd tho two hulls remaining on

Tho fleet corporation ordered

Location of a branch factory
hero by tho Aladdin Co. of Bny
City, Michigan, is predicted as
a result of the visitor president
and other officials of thu concern
to Portland Thursday. Tho in
dustry would mean a payroll of
from $,10,000 to S50.000 a month
and an additional outlet for mil
lions of feet of Oregon building
woods. The Aladdin Co. oper
ates the largest ready-cut house
plnnt in the world. This plant
and others consume 70,000,000
feet of lumber every year.
Growing business of tho concern
has made it necessary to es
tablish a branch factory on tho
Pacific coast. It is believed
that Portland's strategic position
as tho center of the greatest
timber suction in the world will
have thu dociding influence on
final decision of tho company
officials. . Tho chamber of com
merce of Portland has offered
as an additional Inducement to
spend '10,000 in leveling off a
20iicrc factory site on tho pen
insula and making other im
provements. Tho company turns
out 100 distinct types of ready
cut houses of from ono to ten
room sizcf. Tho timbers for
