Alumni Reception June 27th marked the fourth annual alumni reception for the Seniors of James John High School. Tho jrym was converted intoaptrdenof roses and green ery with numerous porch swings and rustic benches. Moss roses and silver and rose streamers were effectively uued in carry ing out the color scheme. At one end of the "garden" a beau tiful grotto was formed where tho banquet tables were placed. The following program as given: Piano solo, Mrs. Convert: read ing.MissLulu Day; instrumental solo, Mr. Emory Gillmore; read ing, Miss Florence Wass; piano solo, Miss Celia Ilunldns: solo, Mrs. Coovcrt; piano solo, Miss ArlmeShaw. A number of nov el games were played, after which a baniiuct, perfect in ev ery detail from tho beautiful hand painted place cards to the Inst tempting course that was served, was enjoyed to the ut most by the thirty people for whom covers were laid.
