Birthday Celebration
Sunday, Feb. lGth, was Marion
Murphy's twenty-first birthday
and in the evening of the 17th
about 23 of his yountf friends
assembled at his father's resi
dence. It was a very complete
surprise and a lasting pleasure
to Marion, and his generous
young friends appeared to enjoy
the occasion as only the young
and happy can.
After some time was spent in
games and other amusements
refreshments were served and
duly disposed of. A number of
presents wore presented to Mar
ion on behalf oi tnoso present
as a testimony of their regard
and at a late hour the guests

the pleasure they had afforded
one of their friends. Those
