    Enjoy a Banquet
Last Tuesday nitrht. Fob. 11th.
the Younjjr Men's Baraca class of
the Baptist church gave their
first great banquet in honor of
the first six new members. They
now have nineteen in roll, of
which twelve were present at
the most delicious spread ol
"eats" that was ever served in
this city. It was most too irood
for kings, but nothing is too good
for the Baracas. Eats, eats, all
kinds of good, rich eatsl The
menu wns as follows:
Old time vegetable soup and
crackers, egg and potato salads,
olives, baked beans, sweet pick
las, ham sandwiches, celery and
choose, Imperial coffee with
whipped cream, peach pudding
with whipped cream dressing,
and lots of it; and last, but not
least, the class toasts and the
buet of fruit punch to go with it.
Those present wore Kcv. Wae
hlto, William Ford, Harry Haw
son, Hazlet Smith, Lewis Sim
mons, Lewis Kelihcr, Russell
Dickey, LeRoy Crouchloy, Frank
Grow, Vernon .lonson, Richie
Smith and Leslie Wood.
Now wo are going to give an
other banquet just as sooti as we
getHix new members, so boys, if
you want to get in with a com
pany of good, jolly boys, now is
your chance. The Baracas do
things right. We meet at the
Baptist church every Sunday
morning at 10 o'clock, and every
young man in this city is wel
comed to come if they want to
learn something.- Class Repor
ter, Leslie Wood.
