r I Trading At Home When you desire to raise money to put through rt business proposi tion in town or county, do you seek it from capitalists in some distant city? Weil, not very often. You go down the street culling on every one in sight, mul come back on the other side. And yet some of us, who have often asked for business favors of our home people in the past, and will ask for them again, do not hesitate to spend money freely and heedlessly in patronizing the merchants of other cities; often, too, to our distinct disadvantage and regret. It is an excellent prin ciple in business to stand by the people that stick by you. The man who buys everything possible at home creates n circle of business friends who appreciate his loyalty and would like to return it as fur as they can. These business relations lead to personal friendship, and they bring returns, not from ties of ncighboriiness and good fellowship. A great many things in life go by favor. When two propositions look about alike, you choose the one that is backed by the man with whom you have had some friendly relation and the fruitage is likely to come back in a surprising amount of compound interest some day, that often comes from unex pected quarters. Those of us who buy goods of some distant concern never get any thing in the way of reciprocity or return. We have cast our bread upon the waters that How away and will never return. Who in the Int.: rortlnml houses knows or cares about us, save as one cog in the vast machine of distribution to be grotim through the day's work without the slightest feeling of personal friendship or reciprocity? Think about it. .-tfjHR!2W2l. I Mill 1 - - .. 1 vv SrYOUR.VACi THE BONHAM & CURRIER -VSSSjSfc Eleventh Wednesday Special Remember, these big sales with little prices are but one day each week.
