A., gave very pleasing program and dance in the M.W.A. Hall April 1. After the program the R. N. A. quilt, which the ladies made, was rallied off, C. F. Wickon having the lucky num ber, 12, and the quilt is being held for him at 539 South Jersey street. The jabot was won by H.J. Martin. The proposed site of the new stock yards is at Maegley Junction, near the Ivast St. Johns depot, where un excelled railroad transjiortatiou fa cilities are assured. The announce ment is also made that the Good Packing Co. will erect a million dollar jiackiug plant right beside the above mentioned, to be ready In ninety days. The coming of these stockyards and packing plant will mean an ex tension of the Kenton car Hue to Kast St, Johns, and means the up building of that part of the city m a manner most rapid.
