The teachers of Port land will not be required to attend this meeting for the reason that Superintendent Robinson has an nounced that he will credit their at tendance at grade meetings each week as "Institute attendance." Mr. Robinson states also that by holding the meeting for the county teachers alone he can better ai'npt the instruction to the need of the country schools. An evening ses sion will be held 011 Tuesday to which the citizens of St. Johns arc coidially invited. The evening program will consist of "A half hour with Hen Ilur and other se lections" by C. W. Harlan of Iudi ana and an address by b'dward O. Sisson of the University of Wash ington and u member elect of the faculty of the Reed Institute, Port land.
